The gallery will feature never-before-seen images of the two from what many music historians and journalists have called Lennon’s “lost weekend”. Pang will be present at the event to meet guests and discuss the photographs.

Legendary New Hope photographer Jack Rosen died in 2006, and since then, his family has been endeavoring to preserve his legacy while establishing permanent outlets for the photographer’s massive body of work.

The value of art, whether it be emotional or financial, is subjective. However, the pieces inside New Hope’s Arete Gallery have a very objective point.

Arete Gallery opened its doors at 122 S. Main Street, New Hope, in late October 2020.

The gallery was established by Kim I. Plyler and the team of Sahl Communications, Inc. Its mission is to showcase artists whose work elevates humanity. It was designed to provide a space for the community to discuss current issues and find common ground through the arts.

“Arete means ‘to live in virtue’ and we opened the gallery to showcase art that improves the human condition,” said CEO Kim Plyler.

True to the mission, February’s showing at Arete, 122 S. Main St., New Hope, is “a triple threat of powerful black female perspectives” through photos, poetry and mixed media.

Communication Firm Takes Creative Stories to a new Level on Main St., a communications and public relations firm, is pleased to announce the opening of Arete Gallery.

Arete’s mission is to showcase artists from Bucks County, Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas who have a story to tell. The ribbon cutting was held on October 30th and was attended by Mayor Larry Keller, New Hope Borough Mayor and members of the New Hope Chamber of Commerce.
