Natalie Alleyne’s venture and search for artist expression has allowed her to develop a vibrant style with a refreshing usage of mixed media. Alleyne originally pursued an education and career in graphics and advertising. She abandoned the corporate world when she felt called to the island life of St. Maarten during her frequent travel escapades.
Influenced by the vibrant culture, she resumed her collegiate entrepreneurial efforts and began selling painted clothing in local shops on the island. Not surprisingly, her passion soon expanded into varying mediums of wood, metal, canvas, ink, and acrylic. After well-spent island life, Alleyne took her developing style back home and continued her life as a renowned fine artist, as well as an educator. Alleyne credits her mother for supporting her spontaneous life and passions.
