Everyone can be an artist, but many are fearful to create. If you don’t create then you aren’t an artist. Creating, innovation and expression are key characteristics that separate the human species. Inherently humans have the ability to create and therefore could be an artist; but not necessarily a good one. Art is subjective to the viewer.

Art creates an aura of sorts that conveys energy or retrospectively can convey historical culture. Ancient Greek coins were a societal currency that was produced through the method of stamping. If encountered, there would be an aura from these ancient coins despite the mass reproduction of them with the method of stamping. Is there an aura to contemporary currency? Were the original Greek stampers considered an artist in their day? A computer scientist may not consider themselves an artist, but in the rawist form, their code has an aura. Their code may have cultural significance.
